Block for Leah
Leah is making a supercute wallhanging of house blocks. We had specific instructions and fabrics except for the windows, she left that part up to us to fill, how fun! So I filled my house with cute gnomes, who let in a deer, and a woodsman, he he! Thanks Leah for making the month of May such a fun one! ♥

April Blocks for Ruth Finally done in May
Here are my blocks for Ruth a little bit late but the circle one was causing me some difficulty because I didn't know what to do. Love the fabrics and now I want some for me now.

Greta's block
Just sent my completed block for Greta (a little late, sorry!). I thought it was quite a complicated block, in that it has to be so precise, man those half square triangles! But, it is the most beautiful block, what a stunning quilt it's going to be. Greta, you chose some really beautiful fabrics, thank you for letting hold some FMF, even if only for a little while, lol! I really love the grey kona too, just lovely. ♥

Blocks for Sarah
Block 2 - having fun with the improv part!
I love the way they came out, I hope Sarah does too! Also, the more I played with this fabric, the more I loved it, soooo wish I could order some for myself, but alas that may not be possible. Oh well, at least I got to play and see it up close.
Happy Quilting, Ladies! ♥

March is Coming!
I finally finished cutting all of the 3 inch blocks to send to my bee buddies from Bee Stitched. In the end I decided on this block:
It looks a lot harder than it really is. When you break it down it is two different 4 patches turned in different directions to make the stars. I will have to cut plenty more squares if I end up deciding to do little stars in the boarders like in the inspiration quilt. Over all I have more than 65 fabrics going into this quilt. Some are in every pile and some are not. I also left it open to my bee members to swap out for some of their favorites with a few specifications. I know I can be picky but I want this one to be something I absolutely love.

PHEW
So from our Flickr discussions, it appears that through all the craziness, Sarah's quilt is coming together. Just to report, it took TWO WEEKS for my little blocks to arrive only from New York City. Seriously, what postal gods did we piss off here?
Greta has put some hints to what we can expect next month on Flickr and her blog and I must say I'm super excited.
And you can also get excited for April (my month) because I already have my fabric too! Hints about what's to come after Greta gets to enjoy the spotlight. :)

Stuck in the Snow
I'm pretty sure this is where my package 'o fabric for Sarah's quilt is! It's in this mail truck being pushed by 4 men. And it's in a small town in, probably, Alabama or something. This would explain why it's taking so long. I can't think of any other reason. And it's not just me, I think everyone in our little bee that lives West of the Mississippi, their packages are in this truck as well! So I say a little prayer that the men get that truck started up so it can get here a little faster!

Sarah's blocks
I thought I'd dive right into our blog and post pictures of the blocks I finished for Sarah. I loved your fabric selection, Sarah and found that I had many coordinating prints and colors. For my first foray into improv blocks, I'm pretty happy with them. I hope you like them! Can't WAIT to see the finished product. :)
